The Quality of the Bay of Quinte

The Quality of the Bay of Quinte and the main river systems that feed into it is of vital importance.
You are cordially invited by your L&A Stewardship Council and Friends of the Napanee and Salmon Rivers and the Wilton Creek Watershed to join us for this free public event.

Keynote Speakers: Dr. Agnes Richards from Environment and Climate Change Canada and Dr. Warren Currie from the Dept. of Fisheries and Oceans will address:

- The Science (including observations and research) behind the conditions in the Bay and its major tributaries
- Why the Bay remains as an Area of Concern based on the 1987 Int’l Joint Commission’s Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement

- How we can influence the future of the Bay

We will also provide ample opportunity for audience discussion for those who live on or enjoy life on the Bay of Quinte and would like to share their experience.
Refreshments will be provided.
