Finance & Treasury
The Finance Department of the Township of Stone Mills is responsible for the provision of financial management, accounting and reporting services in accordance with the laws of Ontario and the by-laws and resolutions of Municipal Council.
Tax Rates are developed for each level of government that obtains a share of the property taxes each property owner pays to the Township.
Procurement deals with the sourcing activities, negotiation and strategic selection of goods and services that are usually of importance to an organization. Purchasing is the process of how goods and services are ordered.
Council & Committees
The local Council is comprised of a Reeve, Deputy Reeve and 5 Members, all elected at large.
