Interim Control By-law
Background
On July 13, 2020, Township of Stone Mills Council voted in favour of a staff report to enact an Interim Control By-law (ICBL) respecting cannabis. The By-law is to allow for the opportunity to fully evaluate the land use planning implications of cannabis production and processing of cannabis within the Township. The By-law temporarily prohibits any land, building or structure from being used for the cultivation, production, processing or packaging of cannabis for a period of one (1) year with the possibility of extension.
