Fire & Emergency Services

Stone Mills Fire Department is a dedicated team of 100 volunteer firefighters based out of 4 fire stations in the Township, covering more than 700 Km2. The team provides the following services:

• Emergency response for fire, motor vehicle accident, water rescue and other emergency rescue services
• Fire prevention services, including inspections and enforcement
• Public safety and education training
• Emergency management and response training and coordination of the Township’s Emergency Response Plan

The level of fire service is set by council for the township with the Establishing and Regulating By-Law.
