L&A County Agricultural Lands Advisory Committee

The County of Lennox and Addington is seeking volunteers for an Agricultural Lands Advisory Committee to share local insights on farming, land use and the environment.

As a committee member you will be a valuable resource for their consulting team and municipal staff.  You will support the project by providing feedback and advice that reflects your local knowledge of Lennox and Addington.  Local knowledge can include but is not limited to:

1. Agricultural Productivity and Soil Insights
2. Land Use & Farming Practices
3. Economic and Social Considerations
4. Environmental Factors and Constraints

Applications are now being accepted from residents who meet the following criteria:

• Resident of Lennox and Addington County.
• Exhibit a strong commitment to our community and are passionate about Lennox and Addington and its opportunities.
• Has a good understanding of rural Lennox and Addington County and is able to prioritize issues of County-wide significance.
• Not a member of a Local Municipal Council or County Council.
• Will volunteer time to ensure full participation and interest.
