Development Charges
Notice is hereby provided that on Monday, November 4, 2024, the Council of Stone Mills Township will hold a public meeting, pursuant to Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, to present and obtain public input on the draft development charges background study and proposed development charges by-law.
Development Charges are levied against new development and are the primary source of funding for growth-related capital expenditures. Development Charges By-laws are typically valid for a period of 10 years.
All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting and any person who attends the meeting may make representation relating to the draft development charges background study and the proposed development charges by-law. The meeting is to be held:

Copies of the draft background study and the proposed by-law are available upon request at the Clerk’s Office at 4504 County Rd 4, Centreville, Ontario, K0K 1N0, and online.
