Notice of Public Meeting - Intent to Adopt Road Naming By-law

TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 48 of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O., 2001, c. 25, as amended, the Council of the Corporation of The Township of Stone Mills at its Regular Meeting to be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 will consider a by-law to amend By-law 1998-51 Being a Road Naming By-law to name and rename Municipal, Private Road Names and Water Access Only Numbering names. The intent for amending the by-law is to ensure the orderly assignment and proper maintenance of municipal address numbers required for the effective and efficient delivery of municipal services, including emergency services, required to protect the health, safety and well-being of persons and for the protection of property and persons.
